The place was well-maintained and in a quiet residential area. We had a healthy and savory breakfast with fresh fruits and homemade breads included in the rate. the location was quiet and a short walk to Rainbow Falls and other waterfalls. Free parking was an excellent bonus.

The rooms were reasonably spacious and complete with a shower, ensuite bathrooms and separate tub.

The bed and breakfast has a marvelous and favorable location in a very quiet neighborhood. It is located near the river and the volcano, making it convenient for sightseeing. - Wai'ale Falls and other tourist attractions are just a 4-6 minute walk away from the property.

We loved the central location of Old Hawaiian Bed And Breakfast, making it easy to explore the east side of the island. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing on the covered porch. The host provided valuable travel tips and a delicious breakfast with tropical fruits. We also appreciated the availability of instant coffee and tea in the morning. we would definitely recommend this hotel for a lovely stay.

We stayed in a beautiful, historic home located in a quiet residential area. The neighborhood was peaceful and full of tall trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The room we had was clean and comfortable, with an immaculate bathroom and plenty of towels. The owners and staff were gracious and accommodating, providing a fantastic breakfast each morning with fresh fruits and delicious pastries. The view from the veranda overlooked a stunning backyard with two waterfalls and an abundance of flowing water. It was a truly picturesque location.

The gardens surrounding the patio were incredibly beautiful and instantly put us in vacation mode. The location was quiet and close to some stunning waterfalls. The breakfast served by the friendly staff was delicious, with a great variety of options including fruit smoothies and pastries. We enjoyed meeting fellow travelers during breakfast on the communal patio. we highly recommend this charming B&B as a base for exploring the Hilo side of the Big Island. We will definitely be back!
